I had a really bad nightmare last night and it wouldn't let me wake up. My mind fooled me into thinking that i woke up but i didn't. It was a horrible experience just lying there in bed completely paralyzed for about 10 minutes!
Have you ever had an experience like this?
You were awake. You experienced a night terror. When you sleep you brain releases a chem and that puts your body into a catonic (or paralysis) state. shit sucks bro. sometimes when you wake up from a nightmare your body fails to have the chem wear off. :(
ReplyDeleteto be honest, i've never experienced this. i almost never remember my dreams, and certainly not with such an intensity.
ReplyDeletesleep paralysis, its normal dude
ReplyDeletelook it up
You said something about an evil idea?
ReplyDeleteI know someone who had flashbacks, like these. Her body would be conscious bot not her mind. Her mind would be somewhere else, wherever/whenever she was flashing back to.
ReplyDeleteYes, I have those dreams all the time, really confusing... :/
ReplyDeletei get sleep paralysis on my way down, I find it quite an interesting experience. But yes if I was having a twilight zone nightmare it would be unnerving.
ReplyDeleteNever had that before luckily. know it does happen though.
ReplyDeleteCan't say I ever have. I'm actually a lucid dreamer and generally have almost full control over everything I dream. I only recently found out that this is odd. :/
ReplyDeleteThat aside, I'm very sorry. That really sucks that it happened to you.
My friend had an experience like this. I had one of the scariest nightmares last week. Great post, by the way. +Following.
ReplyDeleteI had this a lot when I was younger. The first time it happened I thought there was a weird cube with eyes and a pointy nose looking at me from the foot of my bed...
ReplyDeleteFreaky shit
Heavy man. Can't say I have.
ReplyDeleteNot dreamt in a while, watched inception last night so I thought I would go to sleep to dream. No luck =/
ReplyDeletenever had a sleep paralysis, but some friends of mine had, and they told me their experiences. i'm kind of jealous about that... i rarely remember my dreams and they have dreams like that.. lol. and also you! :p
ReplyDeleteHahaha i get that shit all the time, im in the dream thinking ive already woken up. Best feeling ever when you actually wake up
ReplyDeleteNever had that before, i always wake up when i'm having a nightmare.
ReplyDeletethe surrealism going on in this image is amazing.
ReplyDeleteWhoa thats pretty awesome dude, thanks for posting. Followed!
ReplyDeletegaah I hate this feeling!
ReplyDeletenice pic though!
I haven't had something like that happen but i did have this morning a point where i woke up in a dream fell asleep in the dream and then woke up in the dream of the dream then i finally woke up in real life with a startle.
ReplyDeleteNightmares suck! I had a dram that wouldn't let me wake up when I was a kid. I guess it happens a lot to kids. Sucks. =(
ReplyDeleteSome nightmares must first "peak" before you wake up. That's horrible! :D
