Lucid Dreaming

So I was thinking about picking up lucid dreaming the other day. I'm already practicing Zen Meditation which has a massive impact on my way of thinking and my physical state. Since my dreams are extremely vivid I thought I would give it a shot to get some creative inspirations for my screenplays I'm writing.

I had a few chats with some people who practice it but I never really looked into it. I looked up some threads on the internet and read some articles about it in a magazine, nothing serious really.

That is why I was wondering if you guys might know some good sites or books I could check out.

Also: Feel free to share any experiences / tips or other stuff related to the topic!

  4. I wish I could offer experience, but I can't. It's something I've always sorta been able to do; so I can't really speak to how well the mental exercises work. :/ Sorry

  5. I wrote a work about lucid dreaming about a month ago. I'd recommend checking out Paul Tholeys books if you want to learn some techniques to leran lucid dreaming.

In my opinion anyone with a big imagination can experience the strange process of this "wake dreaming".

One of the easiest techniques is to wake up ealier than usual and stay awake for about 10 minutes. In that time try to remember what you just dreamt and only concentrate on that. Go to bed again and fall asleep and there's a high chance that you will be able to continue your dream from before, just with the diffrence that now you actually know you're in a dream.

  10. I dont know much about lucid dreaming, but I know I love that second wallpaper! All i can remember about lucid dreaming is that you are supposed to concentrate on what you want to think about for a certain time before you go to sleep.

  11. great images. I think some types of people or more prone to lucid dreaming but imagine if you have trained yourself through TM (oh wait I see you said ZM...) then you should be able to learn easily.
