I saw a set of those in a thread the other day but I can't find the link anymore. Its a set of pictures about girls with animals. They're pretty weird but for some reason I kind of like them.
Does anyone know the name of the artist and his / her site?
In addition: I've got full blown arachnophobia and live in Australia :P. Anyone else afraid of spiders bigger then a mans fist?

Here are two pictures I really like. They are semi related to what I am about to write though.
I am really into watching movies and making them myself. I've been to a student film festival the other day and I enjoyed watching a lot of the projects. Yet I thought that a lot of the shorts I've watched looked really good but in terms of story telling they really sucked.
I find that with the new DSLR cameras and other technology it became really easy to make a movie look good. Furthermore, I think that a lot of people started to neglect the stories of their films and that they are just trying to make them look pretty. For me the whole creative part of film making is slowly turning into something more technical. Something you would need a technician for rather than a creative mind.
Don't get me wrong. I still think there are some really great films out there. I just find that that a lot of new films have a really bad story or a story that has been seen a million times before. I am mostly referring to newly produced short films.
What are your opinions on this?

I had a few chats with some people who practice it but I never really looked into it. I looked up some threads on the internet and read some articles about it in a magazine, nothing serious really.
That is why I was wondering if you guys might know some good sites or books I could check out.
Also: Feel free to share any experiences / tips or other stuff related to the topic!
